How do Sourcing Ally fees work?

Short answerWhen a client orders through Sourcing Ally, the minimum sourcing service fee is 5%. Independent factory-travel support is $150 per day when the client does not order through Sourcing Ally.

Context

What this means in a real sourcing project.

The final scope and fee treatment should be agreed before work begins because a product, travel plan, inspection task, and coordination request can require different levels of work. Ask what is included, what information you need to provide, what outputs you will receive, and how additional travel or third-party costs would be handled before confirming a project.

What changes the answer

Do not treat a general answer as a project decision.

The right approach can change with the product, quantity, materials, supplier, destination market, commercial terms, timing, and information already available. Use the answer to form a better brief, then confirm the details that apply to the actual order.

A useful next step

Move from a question to a written decision.

  1. Write the facts you already know.Product, quantity, destination, timing, and the decision you need to make.
  2. Record the detail that is uncertain. For example, supplier capability, sample quality, packaging, travel plan, or inspection scope.
  3. Open the related guide before you contact anyone. It will help you ask a more specific question and compare answers consistently.
